Body awareness and desire — a gentle introduction
Desire is not a switch. Learn about your body without pressure or performance.
Desire looks different for everyone, and for the same person at different times in life. There is no right level of desire. Getting to know your body is about curiosity rather than goals.
Start with exploration, not performance
Set no finish line. Touch your body where it feels pleasant without aiming for orgasm. This builds a better map of what works for you.
Breathing and presence
Deep, slow breathing increases blood flow and can make you more receptive to touch. Many people feel more when they slow down.
No two bodies are exactly alike. What works for someone else may not work for you — and vice versa.
This is general information, not medical advice. Speak to a doctor or sexual-health professional if something concerns you.
